Yorka Jean Jones, 55, of St. Clair passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 in Creve Coeur.

Ms. Jones, daughter of the late Harvey James Jones Sr. and wife Mamie Gertrude nee Lewis was born June 1, 1962 in Washington.

Yorka was of the Christian faith and member of the former Rock Hill Community Church in St. Clair.

In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and reading. She loved animals especially her cats and dogs and had a huge heart for rescuing animals from time to time.

Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Sr. and Mamie Jones; one brother, Harvey Jones Jr. and infant brother, Harvey Caesar Jones.

She is survived by three siblings, Joyce Ochsenbine and husband James of St. Clair, Linda Foster of St. Clair and Jerry Jones and wife Vicki of Pacific; special nephews, Phillip Foster and wife Vonna of Union and Dennis Ochsenbine and wife Lisa of St. Clair; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
