Wyonia Mae Goebel (Phillips), 82, of Washington passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Wyonia, daughter of Clark Phillips and wife Nelda (O'Farrell) was born July 18, 1939 in Cantril, Iowa.

On October 14, 1957 she was united in marriage to Roger Goebel in St. Louis.

Wyonia was a member of the Presbyterian Church-Washington.

Wyonia was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Nelda Phillips; her husband, Roger Goebel and one brother, Gerald Phillips.

She is survived by two sons, Perry Goebel and wife Diane of Labadie and their children, Shawn, Marc and Sarah and Doug Goebel and wife Jennifer of O'Fallon, MO and their son, Jacob; other relatives and many friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Toys for Tots would be greatly appreciated, as her husband Roger was a marine and worked with the organization over the years.
