Willie Gene Brewer, 82, of Pacific passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at his home.

Gene, son of Bartly David Brewer and wife Gradie Lucile (Clay) was born April 30, 1939, in Lutts, Tennessee.

On January 11, 1958, he was united in marriage to Sue Bryson in Caruthersville, Missouri.

Gene was a member of the Mason's with the masonic Lodge #173 in Gray Summit. He was also a Schriner and Scottish Rite.

He retired as a diesel mechanic with Machinist Lodge 777. After his retirement Gene and Sue would travel the country in their RV and visit out-of-town family members.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Bartly David and Gradie Lucile Brewer and his son, Carey Gene Brewer.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Brewer of Pacific; two sons, Charles Ray Brewer and wife Michelle of Villa Ridge and Christopher Bartly Brewer and wife Dereka of Pacific; one sister, Betty Lamon and husband Bill of Poplar Bluff; half brothers and sisters; six grandchildren, Michael Brewer, Corey Brewer, Lateisha Orphan and husband Shawn, Brendon Brewer and wife Tina, Victoria Brewer and Charlie Brewer; six great grandchildren, Kolton, Hadley, Aiden, Tabrien, Ava and Brianna; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to Schriners Hospital are preferred.
