William "Bill" Whitney of Washington, MO passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the age of 72 years.  Bill was born January 11, 1952 in St. Louis, MO; the son of Virgil Whitney and Marceline Cole.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Whitney and Marceline Cole.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Whitney of Washington; one son, Gary Whitney and wife Kim of Hillsboro; seven daughters: Michelle Mullin and husband Matt of Omaha, NE, Denise Whitney of Toledo, OH, Tammie Whitney of Omaha, NE, Heather Silvey and husband Matt of Rolla, Tiffany Duzeski of Eureka, Lisa Bridgeford of Casselberry, FL, and Christina Whitaker and husband Eric of Eureka; eighteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A private burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

Memorials in honor of Bill Whitney can be made to the charity of donor's choice.
