William Francis Leonard Sr., 65, of Union passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at his home.

William, son of Paul Leonard and wife Lillian (McNary) was born December 4, 1956 in Hartford, Connecticut.

On December 31, 1992 he was united in marriage to Sue Leonard in Washington state.

William was an avid New York Sports Fan, especially when it came to the Yankees.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lillian Leonard; his wife, Sue Leonard and two brothers, Edward Leonard and Paul Leonard.

He is survived by two sons, William F. Leonard Jr, and fiancé Chelsie Poole of Washington and Todd Jabusch of Union; one daughter, Nicole Fontaine of East Hartford, CT; two brothers, Ronnie Leonard of Waterbury, CT and Steven Leonard of Rockville, CT; two sisters, Barbara Jean Moon and husband Otis of East Hartford, CT and Betty Anne Whalen and husband Berry of Tallahassee, FL; one grandson, William Jabusch of Union; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family ae preferred.
