William "Bill" Lape of Beaufort, MO was born January 30, 1966 in Grand Forks, ND; the son of Alvie Lape Jr. and his wife, Vida (Twillman).  Bill passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the age of 57 years.

Bill attended Union High School, graduating with the class of 1984.  He then furthered his education by receiving his Associate Degree in Computer Programming from East Central College.  Bill was employed by TOPS, formerly Esselte Pendaflex, in Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Vida Lape Jr.; and two brothers: Robert Lape and Michael Lape.

He is survived by two sisters: Cindy Brown of St. Clair, MO, and Cheri Maune and husband Andy of Washington, MO; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
