William Edward "Bill" Findley, 94, of Beaufort passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his home.

Bill, son of Edward Findley and wife Sylvia (Jones) was born June 17, 1926 in St. Louis.

He served his country in the United States Army during WWII as a Heavy Artillery Weapons Trainer.

He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

As a pilot he owned and operated his own crop-dusting business.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jesse Findley and Nathan Findley and two sisters Grace Mildred Brooks and Ruth Mell.

He is survived by his long lifetime companion, Wanda Chronister of Beaufort; one daughter, Karen Davis of Little Rock, AR; two brothers, Bob Findley and wife Joyce of Louisiana, MO and George Findley and wife Betty of Pevely; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
