William Dewey Angel, 77, of Sullivan, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at his home in Sullivan surrounded by his loving family.

On January 27, 1941 William was born to the union of Ernest Angel and Velma (Eaker) in Zalma, MO.

William attended Ferguson Highschool and graduated in 1959.

June 24, 1961 in Kirkwood William would be united in marriage to Judy Alexander and they would spend 54 years together.

William worked for MODOT for 41 years as a permit specialist.

In Williams free time he was a professional lead guitarist and vocalist. He enjoyed puttering (tinkering) and collecting junk.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Angel and his parents Ernest and Velma Angel.

Those who are left to remember William are his two sons; William Angel and wife Brandie of St. Robert and Robert Angel and wife Katherine of Sullivan; two daughters, Laura Vonk and husband Hank of Owensville and Heather Angel-Wood and husband Edmund of Sullivan; one brother, Wayne Menke and wife Cindy of Union; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
