William "Bill" A. Turley, 87, of Washington passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Creve Coeur, Missouri after a short illness.

Mr. Turley, son of the late Elvis Turley and wife Verda nee Phillips was born July 18, 1929 in Sacramento, Kentucky.

Bill grew up on a farm in Sacramento, KY and later went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked at Chrysler Corporation and retired after 30 years of dedicated service.

On August 9, 1947 he was united in marriage to Nan Garrett in Sacramento, Kentucky.

Bill was of the Christian faith and member of First Baptist Church of Gray Summit.

Mr. Turley was preceded in death by his parents, Elvis and Verda Turley; three brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nan Turley of Washington; two sons, Chuck Turley and wife Dorothy of Rochester, WA and Bob Turley and wife Dorain of Pacific; one daughter, Kathy Arcaro and husband Sy of San Clemente, CA; three granddaughters, Jennifer Turley of Pacific, Kimberly Easter and husband Eric of Pacific and Gabriella Arcaro of San Clemente, CA; two great-grandsons, Brady Easter and Ethan Easter; nieces; nephews; other relatives and countless friends.
