Willard Charles Littrell, 81 of Union, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
Willard, son of William Oscar Littrell and wife Elsie Mae (Vest), was born May 6, 1941, in Richwoods.
On October 16, 1965, he was united in marriage to Helen "Maxine" Conard at Richwoods. They were blessed with 48 years of marriage before her passing in 2013.
Willard was an over the road truck driver, working as an Independent Owner Operator. He especially enjoyed his over the road travels to the Western United States.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and the many outdoor adventures with his brothers. He greatly cherished the times spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Littrell; parents, William and Elsie Littrell; four brothers, Herbie Littrell, Merle Littrell, Ray Littrell and David Littrell; four sisters, Barbara Williams, Opal McCluskey, Margie Sansoucie and Rita Grow.
He is survived by one son, William Littrell and wife Jennifer of Washington; three daughters, Veronica Littrell and partner Lee Shafer of Union, Vicki York of Union, Vonda Carbone and husband Daniel of St. Clair; two brothers, Art Littrell of Richwoods, Kenny Littrell and wife Sally of Richwoods; two sisters, Betty Bradley and husband George of Desoto, Laverne Thurmand of Potosi; nine grandchildren, Kylee Alexander and husband David of Union, Heath York and wife Jamie of Hillsboro, Cody Littrell and wife Ashley of St. Clair, Whitney Catt and husband Tyler of St. Clair, Hope Ladyman of St. Clair, Abby Carbone of St. Clair, Aubrie Carbone of St. Clair, Ella Littrell of Washington and Alaina Littrell of Washington; ten great grandchildren, David Alexander, Jaxon Alexander, Austin Alexander, Bailey Littrell, Benson Littrell, Thorin Sherer, Ophelia Alexander, Miriam York, Esther York and Aaron York; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
