Willa Dean Madden nee Hargrove, 69, of New Haven passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at her home.

Mrs. Madden, daughter of the late Harold Hargrove and wife Willie nee Wells was born April 29, 1939 in Qulin, Missouri.

On August 4, 1965 she was united in marriage to James Madden.

Mrs. Madden was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Willie Hargrove; her husband, James Madden; two brothers, Dennis Hargrove and Charles Hargrove; two sisters, Lavonda Brandon and Whitty Hargrove; one grandchild, Casey Meyer.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Thomas and wife Debbie of Marthasville and James Madden and wife Tina of New Haven; three daughters, Robin Kreutz and husband Robert of St. Clair, Carolyn Sadler of New Haven and Teresa Meyer and husband Mark of New Haven; one brother, William Hargrove of St. Louis; one sister, Betty Carolyn Patterson and husband Bill of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
