Wilfrid Meyer "Cotton", 81 of Hermann passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in New Haven.

Mr. Meyer, son of Henry and Teresa Meyer was born May 8, 1931 in Litchfield, IL.

On May 5, 1995 he was united in marriage to Bertha Dixon in New Haven.

He was a lifetime farmer in Berger on his own farm until his retirement.

Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bertha Meyer and two brothers, Robert Meyer and Joseph Meyer.

He is survived by two sisters, Marie LaBoube and husband Linus of Hermann and Leona Englert of Hermann; two grandchildren, Wade Rulo of Freeburg, MO and Chad Rulo of Hermann; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
