Warren William Ruck, of Lonedell, Missouri, passed away at his home on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on January 30, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John William and Viola (Haeffner) Ruck.

Warren was united in marriage to Sylvia Louise Nappier on August 5, 1960, in Maplewood, Missouri. Together, they shared 66 years of marriage and built a life centered around their family.

Warren worked as a bricklayer in the construction industry. More than anything, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and his family remained an important part of his life throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Viola Ruck; and his father- and mother-in-law, George and Alma Nappier.

Warren is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Ruck of Lonedell; four sons, William Ruck of Lonedell, Kenneth Ruck of Union, Thomas “Tom” Ruck of Union, and Tim Ruck and wife Karen of Grubville; two grandchildren, Ashley Wilder and husband Justin of St. Clair and Abigail Long and husband Zach of Lonedell; two great-grandchildren, Kent and Wyatt; brother-in-law of Shirley Barker of Pacific, Ann Nappier of House Springs, Charlotte Bobo and husband Keith of Washington, Faye Brockway of Union, Darrell Nappier of Pensacola, Florida, and Brian Nappier and wife Lori of Dallas, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Fairview Methodist Church in Grubville. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the church, with John Pursley officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
