Ward L. Duncan, of Washington, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 72 years. Son of William and Ethel (Coon) Duncan, he was born on January 5, 1953, in Bonne Terre.

He was a very talented musician, a master at both the guitar and harmonica. He played as well as sang in several local bands. Ward's sense of humor came through when he was sharing one of his favorite jokes with his many friends, but his most enjoyable times were those spent with his grandchildren and family.

Ward was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Duncan; two daughters, Melissa Sherwood and Amanda Duncan; and four brothers, Dennis Duncan, Ronald Duncan, Neil Duncan, and Jack Duncan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy (Kribben) Duncan; two sons, David Duncan and wife Jennifer, of St. Clair, and Sean Rothschild and wife Melissa, of Washington; two sisters, Maxine Becker, of Sedalia, and Della Ney and husband Paul, of Mineral Point; four grandchildren, Madelyn, Liam, Everly, and Killian; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
