Obituary

Wanda Woodruff, 69, of St. Clair, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 18, 2024. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on February 12, 1955, the daughter of Paul Prince, Sr. and Reba (White).

She was united in marriage to Larry Woodruff, Sr. at Bethel Baptist Church on June 14, 1975. Wanda was employed as a Missouri Highway Patrol Driver Examiner for over twenty-five years and was a faithful member of Green Mound Baptist Church in St. Clair. She was known for her love of cooking and watching cooking shows. Although she never met a stranger, was always helping others and was very dedicated to her family and friends, she always kept everyone in line with her wooden spoons. She also had a love of pets and always took time to pet her grand-dogs, Bo and Chandler, and grand-cat, Bella.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reba and Eulas Gunn; brother, Joseph Gunn and sister-in-law, Sherrie Gunn; niece, Shannon Gunn; her four-legged companion, Maggie.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Larry Woodruff, Sr. of St. Clair; two sons, Larry Woodruff, Jr. of St. Clair and Eric Woodruff of St. Clair; one brother, Paul Prince, Jr. and wife Lynn of St. Clair; two granddaughters, GabbiELee Woodruff and Madison Woodruff; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends
