Walter "Rocky" Wedemeier, 73, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully in the comforting presence of his family on Friday, March 24, 2023 at his home.

On October 4, 1949, Rocky was born to the union of Fred Louis Wedemeier and Lucella (Schweitzer) in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was the husband of Cynthia (Kittle) Wedemeier; loving father to, Kimberly Barfield and husband Danny, Pamela Polt and husband Bernie, Rocky Wedemeier and Cole Wedemeier; loving grandfather to five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother to, Jack Wedemeier and wife Mary and Susan Hesse and husband John.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.

A private celebration of life will be held.
