Viola Rose Woods nee Henson, 73 of Lonedell passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in St. Louis.

Mrs. Woods, daughter of Sam Henson and Viola Rose nee Phillips was born September 7, 1940 in St. Louis. On January 14, 1995 she was united in marriage to Mike Woods in Eureka.

Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Carl Emmanuel Henning and two brothers, Sam Henson and Elvie Ball.

She is survived by her husband Mike Woods of Lonedell; one son, Carl Henning and wife Bernice of Cedar Hill; three daughters, Jewell Fritz and husband James of Lonedell, Brenda Larsen of Union and Ginger Mikel and husband Jason of Hillsboro; three brothers, Willie Ball and wife Cathy of Desoto, Phil Ball and wife Janet of Farmington and Kenney Ball of St. Louis; one sister, Brenda Rhoades and husband Sam of Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
