Viola Julia Burton (Nevins), 82 of St. Clair passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in St. Clair.

Viola, daughter of George Nevins and wife Pearl (Leahy) was born October 10, 1939 in St. Louis.

On June 14, 1957 she was united in marriage to Daniel Burton at Antioch Baptist Church.

She received her education and graduated from Eureka High School. Daniel and Viola lived in Iowa for 25 years before returning to Missouri and making their home in St. Clair.

Viola was a faithful member of St. Clair Southern Baptist Church in St. Clair.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Nevins and one brother, Jim Nevins.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Burton of St. Clair; one son, Michael Burton of Oklahoma; one sister, Christine Eatherton of Naylor, MO; two grandchildren, Sean Burton and wife Baca and Nicole Burton both of Oklahoma; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
