Velma Brinker nee Luttrell, 87 of Washington passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 in Washington.
Mrs. Brinker daughter of the late William Luttrell and wife Ruth nee Seaman was born July 9, 1922 in St. Clair, Missouri.
On July 15, 1943 she was united in marriage to Bernard Ralph Brinker in Washington, Missouri.
She was a member of the American Legion, Green Mound Baptist Church, St. Clair and Faith Baptist Church, Washington.
She worked at the Emmaus Home for 31 years until her retirement.
Mrs. Brinker was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth Luttrell; her husband, Bernard Brinker; one brother, Jack Luttrell; three sisters, Heniretta Koch, Junie Mae Mueller and Wilma Wellenkamp.
She is survived by one daughter, Jonell Broch and husband Harlan Sr. of Washington; one brother, William Luttrell of Washington; three sisters, Mary Lee Scheer and husband Kenneth of Washington, Linda Hoppe of Washington and Bonnie Wisecarver of Washington; three grandchildren, Jason Kruel and wife Jessi of Gerald, Harlan Broch, Jr. and wife Amy of Washington and Alex Broch and wife Katie of Scott City, Missouri; one great-grandchild, Destiny Kruel; special friend Jane Weaks; other relatives and many fiends.
