Thomas Rice, Sr. 78 of St. Clair passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 in St. Clair. Mr. Rice, son of the late Robert Rice and wife Ruth nee Fox was born August 29, 1935 in Sullivan.

After his retirement he kept busy for many years working from his home in St. Clair with small engine repair.

Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Ruth Rice; one brother, Robert Rice, Sr.; infant brother, Herbie Rice and infant sister, Thelma Rice.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas Rice, Jr. and wife Sharon of Cuba, Jay Rice and wife Anna of St. Clair and Jarame Redhage and wife Christina of Fenton; one daughter, Debby Wenzel and companion Joe Dierking of St. Clair; three brothers, David Rice and wife Maxine of St. Clair, Iris Rice and wife Sally of Park Hills and Ralph Rice and wife Connie of Marble Hill; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
