Thomas "Popeye" Finley, 66, of St. Clair passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 in House Springs.

Mr. Finley, son of Chester Finley and Ruth nee Hull was born January 16, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was an honorable man that always kept his word. He loved his family, hunting, outdoors and never met a stranger.

He was truly proud of his two sons, Thomas and David for serving in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Finley was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Peggy McConnell.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas Finley and wife Mary of Galatia, IL and David Finley of Harrisburg, IL; three daughters, Peggy Brinkley and husband Caleb of Junction, IL, Rose Finley of Wood River, IL and Patty Brown of Galatia, IL; four brothers, Larry Finley and wife Darlene of Lebanon, MO, Dennis Finley of House Springs, Douglas Finley and wife Sue of Imperial and Richard Finley and wife Shelia of Lonedell; 7 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
