Terry L. Stricker, 62, of Maryland Heights passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 in Creve Coeur.

Terry, son of the late Guss Stricker and Shirley nee Compton was born March 2, 1955 in Potosi, Missouri.

Terry graduated in 1973 from Pattonville High School. He enjoyed fishing, watching football and playing Yahtzee. During many enthusiastic Spade games with family and friends, he would triumphantly throw down the winning card.

He worked in the automotive industry for many, many years.

Terry being the kind-hearted individual he was aided in caring for his mother and step-father during their final years.

Terry was a quiet, kind and gentle soul. He had a loving an generous heart and was willing to help others when needed.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Guss Stricker and Shirley (nee Compton) Nicholson; step-father, Leo G. Nicholson; one step-brother, Stephen Nicholson; two uncles, Joseph Nicholson and Lewis Witt; and one aunt, Pat Schurwan and husband Elmer "Bud".

He is survived by two sisters, Carol (Nicholson) Rowland and husband Ray of Maryland Heights, and Vicky Nicholson and Roy Hartzell of Anaheim Hills, California; two aunts, Norma Witt of Union and Diana Compton of Union; nieces and nephews, Paxton Culp and husband Logan, Alexis Rowland, Austin Rowland, and Paige Rowland; one great-nephew, Elijah; one uncle, James Nicholson and wife Alice of Phoenix, Arizona; other relatives and many friends.
