Suzanne Faye (McAllister) Kennedy of Beaufort, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the age of 85 years.

Suzanne was born May 20, 1939, in St. Louis, MO; the daughter of John McAllister and his wife, Osa (Jaggars). She received her education from the Riverview Gardens School District in St. Louis.  She was united in marriage to Patrick Kennedy and six children blessed their union.

Her family was her most prized possession, she and Pat decided that she would be most fulfilled by staying home to care for their children and she exceeded our expectations. Suzanne was an animal lover of dogs, cats, and especially the baby goats and cows on the farm; there was also a love of watching butterflies, ladybugs, and hummingbirds. She had a joy of cooking, especially her Christmas Fudge. She really enjoyed sharing a good ice cream cone, strawberry shortcake or a big bowl of popcorn any chance she could get. Christmas held a special place in Suzanne's heart, she would excitedly watch and smile as everyone would open her special gifts brought for them. Crafts, Toll and Diamond painting became a few of the hobbies she loved to do along with searching Facebook for recipes. Suzanne will be dearly missed by family and all who knew and loved her.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Kennedy; her parents, John and Osa McAllister; and one infant son, Perry Thomas Kennedy.

She is survived by three sons: Timothy Kennedy Sr. and wife Genny of O'Fallon, Todd Kennedy Sr. and wife Lisa of NC, and David Kennedy of Jefferson City; two daughters: Penny Holtshouser and husband Bob of O'Fallon, and Holly Kaeshoefer and husband John Jr. of Beaufort; one brother, Larry McAllister and wife Becky of Il; nineteen grandchildren: Katie (Joe) Maixner, Timothy (Heather) Kennedy Jr., Kacey Kennedy, Kayla Kennedy, Andy Holtshouser, Heather (Chris) Conaway, Todd (Kalie) Kennedy Jr., Matthew Kennedy, Daniel Kennedy, Brandon (Amber) Knowles, Christina Knowles, J.J. Kaeshoefer, Madyson Kaeshoefer, Trysta Kaeshoefer, Patrick Kennedy, Shannon Kennedy, Shane Kennedy, Duncan Sutton, and Connor Sutton; ten great-grandchildren: Brayton, Kennedy, Hudson, Liberty, Timothy, Whelahn, Camden, Jack, June, and Leila; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
