Susan Lankford, 65, of St. Clair, passed away, Friday, November 11, 2022, at Life Care Center of Sullivan.

On April 3, 1957, Susan was born to the union of Sherdel Davis Sr. and Katherine (Kelly) in St. Louis city, Missouri.

Susan was united in marriage to David Lankford on June 8, 1974, in St. Louis.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing on her computer and enjoying a cold Pepsi. Susan's dream was to finish her education and become a surgical technician. Susan was self-motivated in operating a Christmas Care Package drive that supplied active-duty service men and women, treats, presents, and other goods to them overseas.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Sherdel Davis Sr. and Katherine, her husband, David Lankford Sr.

She is survived by her son, David Lankford Jr. and wife Kathleen of Arnold; two daughters, Heather Callahan of High Ridge and Ashley Lankford and significant other William Barker of Sullivan; two brothers, Jerry Davis and wife JoAnn of Sullivan * Sherdel Davis Jr. of Bourbon*; eight grandchildren, Dylon Lankford, Klayton Windle, Serenity Callahan, Trenton Stark, Peyton Lankford, Ethan Callahan, Faith Callahan and Cambreha Head; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
