Susan Howard nee Vornberg, 69, of Union passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Owensville.

Mrs. Howard, daughter of Ralph Vornberg and wife Clara nee Senf was born August 28, 1947 in St. Louis.

On August 15, 1975, she was united in marriage to James Howard in St. Louis.

Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Clara Vornberg; her husband, James Howard Sr. and four sisters.

She is survived by two sons, James Howard Jr. and wife Joann of Omaha, Nebraska and Frank A. Howard and wife Amanda of St. Clair; one daughter, Kelli Howard and boyfriend Joe Lawton of Gerald; one brother, Bobby Vornberg and wife Brenda of St. Charles; one sister, Lois Storch and husband Stan of Bridgeton; three grandchildren, Alexander Howard, Bethany Howard and Gwenevere Howard; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
