Stephanie Lavern Curtis, 51, of Owensville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 21, 1974, in Michigan to Charles and Renee Curtis.

Stephanie grew up in Livonia, Michigan, and Mason, Tennessee. She loved spending time with her family, watching cooking shows, and playing with her dog, Teddy. Above all, she treasured her son Nicholas, who was her whole world. Stephanie was always quick to smile and laugh with friends and family, and just as quick to let you know when she was displeased with you.

She is survived by her son, Nicholas Curtis; her grandchild, Ariel Terry; her parents, Charles and Renee Curtis; her sisters, Jennifer (Tommy) Tidwell, Kristy Isome, and Shelley (Joshua) Biere; and her brother, Michael Curtis. She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Terry; and her grandparents, Erma and Everet Lynch, and George Curtis and Dorothy Shelters.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18, at 502 North Pine Street in Owensville, Missouri.
