Sondra Kay Howard, 75, of Catawissa passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her home.

Sondra, daughter of Raymond Fitzgerald and wife Marie (VanSickle) was born September 16, 1943 in San Francisco, CA.

She was a very active member at Eureka United Methodist Church.

Sondra was employed at Union High School as a Drama and Business Economics teacher. She later went on to work at Boatman's Bank as a Relocation Specialist until her retirement.

In her spare time, she enjoyed growing many different flowers and vegetables in her home garden. She loved Theater and being part of the Church Choir.

Sondra was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marie Fitzgerald; her first husband, Gerald Liebhart and her second husband, Bill Howard.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Liebhart of Independence and Eric Liebhart and wife Rachael of Catawissa; one sister, Ramah Fitzgerald and husband Gil Bisjak of Union; six grandchildren, Steven Brown of Independence, Crystal Bender and husband Jonathan of Independence, Laura Liebhart and husband Reid of Columbia, Brendan Liebhart of Catawissa, Grace Liebhart of Catawissa and Joshua Liebhart of Catawissa; two great-grandchildren, Jareth and Jordan; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to the Eureka United Methodist Church are preferred.
