Shirley Marie Davis (nee Moore) born March 23, 1937 last resided in Owensville, Mo, and died February 12, 2026.

Her husband Al, died November, 2013. She is survived by her children James (Karen) Davis, Daniel (Cynthia) Davis, Michael (Sharon) Davis, and grandchildren Melissa (Wyatt) Tinnen, Nicholas Davis, Julie (Michael) Toliusis, Steven Davis, Alex Davis, and her great grandchildren Moira, Nicki, Connor and Isabelle. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She, and her late husband Al, belonged to the Open Road camping club, and enjoyed many years of travel with family and friends. Shirley enjoyed singing, with several favorites dedicated to sing with the grandkids.

Memories of Christmas morning always had their house filled with the entire family, gifts and every breakfast food you can imagine.  She loved dogs and had many of them over the years. She loved crochet, gardening, and teaching crafts to her fellow nursing home residents and family. We are all thankful for her caring and supportive role in our lives, and every life that she touched.

She retired as a nurse at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology/Washington University in the Barnes Jewish complex and was a great advocate for the nursing home residents that she lived in for the last season of her life.

Graveside Service for Shirley Marie Davis (Moore) at Good Shepard Mausoleum at Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union Missouri , March 1, 2026 at 1 pm.
