Shelby Kenneth Henry of Robertsville, MO passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the age of 86 years.  He was born in Robertsville, MO; the son of Kenneth Henry and Lenora (Pursley).  Shelby received his education from Pacific High School, graduating in the class of 1955.  He was united in marriage to Kathleen "Kitty" Badgett on June 12, 1958 in St. Louis, MO and two sons blessed their union.  Shelby was the owner/operator of Shelby Henry Roofing & Siding.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, square dancing, and gardening.  The time Shelby cherished most was the time spent with his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed.

Shelby was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Henry and Lenora Ryles; one son, Shelby C. Henry; and one sister, Linda Cissell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Kitty Henry of Robertsville; one son, Eric Henry of Robertsville; two sisters: Shirley Naylor of CO., and Pamela Johnson and husband Ralph of LA.; six grandchildren: Katie Holman and husband Thomas, Eric Henry Jr., Shelby C. Henry Jr., Michael Henry and wife Alysia, Samantha Lay and husband Chase, and Danielle Kelley and husband Zach; eleven great-grandchildren with two on the way; one brother-in-law, Denny Badgett of St. Louis; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (macular.org) or the Catawissa Union Church.
