Shawn M. Kline, 49, of Cuba, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, October 21, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

On February 17, 1973, Shawn was born to the union of John Kline and Vicki (Anderson) in Sullivan.

Shawn worked for American Precision Die-Casting as a furnace tender and forklift operator.

He was a very active member with Gateway SuperFriends, a non-profit organization that helps and supports various charitable organizations. He would attend many children centered charity events dressed up as "Wolverine". Shawn was also active with Missouri-Kids.

Shawn loved riding his motorcycle, shooting guns and playing guitar. Helping others came naturally for Shawn which aided him in his charity work. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Anderson.

Shawn is survived by his father, John Kline and significant other, Brenda of Potosi; one stepson, Blake Kline of Gerald; one daughter, Stevie Kline of Beaufort; brother, Billy Kline and wife Libby of St. Clair; two stepbrothers, Dennis Cook and wife Shannon and Danny Cook and wife Tammy of Old Mines; sister, Roxie Lafferty and husband Tim of Cuba; two stepsisters, Kristy Cook of Potosi and Tammy Randall and husband Jerry of Potosi; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
