Ruth "Lee" Lussow nee Combs, 82 of Union passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at her home. Lee Lussow, daughter of the late Wilbur and Gertrude Combs was born November 13, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. On February 2, 1953 she was united in marriage to Roy Lussow in Franklin Park, Illinois. At home she took great pride in her garden growing many plants and flowers. She was very fond of feeding and watching hummingbirds and had a great love for all animals. In her spare time she enjoyed showing her skills at crafting. Mrs. Lussow was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Sr. and Gertrude Combs and one brother, Wilbur Combs Jr. She is survived by her husband, Roy Lussow of Union; two sons, Gregory Lussow and wife Tricia of Woodridge, IL and Jeffrey Lussow and wife Annette of Valparaiso, IN; two daughters, Kimberley Freise and husband Frank of Union and Gayle Weber and husband William of Union; one sister, Marion Plier of Port Richey, FL; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Bechinske and husband Brett, Jason Lussow and fiancé Frankie, Kyle Lussow and fiancé Stephanie, Katelyn Lussow, Nick Davis and wife Melissa, Adam Davis and girlfriend Carley, Scott Erickson, Elizabeth Carr and husband Chris and Courtnay Davis; nine great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Lexi, Rylee, Emma, Ella, Keaton, Bennett, Kinley and Nicholas; other relatives and many friends.
