Roy A. Lussow, 86, of Union passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2016 in St. Louis.

Mr. Lussow, son of the late Wilbur Lussow and wife Thelma nee Hudgins was born March 1, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois.

On February 2, 1953 he was united in marriage to Ruth "Lee" Combs in Franklin Park. Illinois.

Roy retired as Vice President of St. Louis Steel.

He enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds and had a great love for all animals.

Mr. Lussow was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Thelma Lussow and his wife, Ruth "Lee" Lussow.

He is survived by two sons, Gregory Lussow and wife Tricia of Woodridge, IL and Jeffery Lussow and wife Annette of Valparaiso, IN; two daughters, Kimberley Freise and husband Frank of Union and Gayle Weber and husband William of Union; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Bechinske and husband Brett, Scott Erickson and wife Kelsey, Kyle Lussow and wife Stephanie, Jason Lussow and fiancé Francine, Nick Davis and wife Melissa, Katelyn Lussow, Adam Davis and wife Carley, Elizabeth Carr and husband Chris and Courtnay Davis; ten great-grandchildren, Emma, Ella, Nicholas, Samuel, Keaton, Bennett, Kinley, Rylee, Alyssa and Lexi; other relatives and many friends.
