Obituary

Rosemary Pitts was called home by our heavenly father on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 94 years. She was born in St. Louis on August 4, 1932. On January 9, 1954, she was united in marriage at St Louis, to the late Charles W. Pills III.

Her long life was filled with many activities from raising her family, practicing her Catholic faith and assisting county employees with their work-related benefits as a secretary for the county of St. Louis for over twenty years. There were many joys in her marriage to Charles, which ranged from weekend getaways to ballroom dancing in which the couple would often participate in dancing shows.

Her leisure time was filled with visiting family, antique shopping, swimming classes, watching wildlife, lunch with friends, group outings with the girls, listening to music and sharing her gift of singing that never wavered through her entire life.

Rosemary was a devoted mother to, John (Jan) Pitts, Kathryn (Arthur) Ruebel, Brian (Anne) Pitts; cherished grandmother of John (Tracy) Pitts, Jena (Eric) Lovig, Jacob (Kortney) Pitts, Katy Baisch, Randy (Ali) Ruebel, Emily (Sarah) Pitts, Benjamin Pitts; treasured great grandmother of seventeen great grandchildren.
