Obituary

Rosa May Copling nee Miller, 77, of Lonedell passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Chesterfield.

She was born May 25, 1939 in Washington County, Missouri, daughter of William Miller and wife Nellie May nee Pennock.

Rose and Herb were married on February 20, 1955.  Reaching nearly 58 years of marriage, they were only separated by Herb's death on February 5, 2013. Rose & Herb had six children: Larry and his wife Cyndi, Carolyn Johnston and her husband Dirk, Steve and his wife Sonora, Ron and his wife Robin, Herb and his wife Sharon and Ken, each of whom witnessed the Christian values their parents demonstrated in daily life. Rose is survived by five siblings, Barbara "Babs" Pinnell, Carol Clontz, William "Billy" Miller and wife Cathy, Roger Miller and wife Shirley and Crystal Richards. Rose also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Rose was a member of oak Grove Baptist Church in Lonedell for more than 40 years and was a devote women of God. She loved singing in the Church Choir and performing solos at the church. She was an avid reader. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were her heart.
