Ronnie Wilken, 61, of St. Clair, passed away, Sunday, October 16, 2022, at his home.

On April 9, 1961, Ronnie was born to the union of Ronald Wilken and Wilma Mae (Whitley) in St. Louis County.

Ronnie left school at a young age to help run the family logging business. He has been working and driving a truck of some sort for his entire life. He was a hard worker and a provider for his family both as a young man and as an adult.

He was united in marriage to Joy (Landwehr) on January 28, 1978, at the St. Clair Baptist Church. Together they have shared 44 memorable years together.

Ronnie worked for his family logging business, VJ Keence Excavating, J. Rice Construction and Riverstone Quarry.

He was an all around country man, enjoyed being outdoors going hunting or fishing. Most of all, Ronnie loved his family especially his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Wilma Mae Wilken; brother, Ricky Wilken; sister, Beverly Petzold; brother-in-law, David Banderman; daughter-in-law, Heather Wilken.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joy Wilken of St. Clair; one son, Eric S. Wilken of Springfield; one brother, Arthur "Bean" Wilken and wife Teresa of Salem; three sisters, Sandy Banderman of St. Clair, Stacy Wilken of St. Clair and Lisa Wright of St. Clair; two grandchildren, Eric Wilken Jr. and Marissa Wilken.
