Ronald Henry Wettling, 84, of Washington, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Ron was born on January 29, 1942, in Hermann, Missouri, to the late Raymond Wettling and Nettie (Loness) Wettling.

On May 23, 1965, he married the love of his life, Judith A. Pohlmann. Together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and devotion to one another.

Ron worked for many years at Zero Manufacturing, where he was employed in the sheet metal fabrication of milk tanks. He was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington, Missouri.

Ron enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially cutting grass, playing computer games, and was affectionately known for enjoying "Club Pogo." He also dearly loved his dogs, Lilly, Buster, and Molly, who brought him much joy throughout the years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Judith Wettling of Washington, Missouri; his sons, Rodney (Laurie) Wettling of Gerald, Missouri, Keith Wettling of Washington, Missouri, and Jeff (Kimberly) Wettling of Washington, Missouri; his brother, Larry (Patty) Wettling of Hermann, Missouri; his grandchildren, Nick (Allison) Wettling, Josh (Marie) Wettling, Gabriel Wettling, Morgan Wettling, and Olivia Wettling; his step-grandchildren, Brittany and Len; his great-grandchildren, Eva, Cheyenne, Zoey, Camryn, Aubrielle, and Karis; his nieces, Tina Pohlmann of Jefferson City, Missouri, Michelle Pohlmann of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Jamie Pohlmann of Jefferson City, Missouri; and his brother-in-law, James Pohlmann of Jefferson City, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nettie Wettling.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Midlawn Memorial Gardens.

Ron will be remembered for his quiet nature, unwavering work ethic, deep love for his family, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures. His kindness, faith, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
