Ronald Bartel
Sr.
November 1, 1937 – February 26, 2022
Ronald Charles Bartel Sr., 84, of Union, passed away, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
On November 1, 1937, Ronald was born to the union of Wilbert Bartel and Wilma (Henderson) in Union, Missouri.
Ronald was a 1955 graduate of Union High School.
He proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy as a photographer.
Ronald was a hobbyist, dealing in model airplanes and boats. He was also quite versed in computers. He also enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool at Maggie's Over the Creek in Union and watching documentaries. Most of all, Ronald loved his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Wilma Bartel; two brothers, Larry Bartel and Ervan Bartel; his wife, Ella Sue (McClain) Bartel.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Bartel Jr. of Arkansas; two daughters, Toni Aguilera and husband Angel of Texas and Terri Morgan and husband Larry of Arkansas; one sister, Barbara Heltibrand of Union; six grandchildren, Angela McCarty and husband Steve of Arkansas, Courtney Stearns of Arkansas, Chelsea Stearns and significant other Coty Brewer of Arkansas, Jacob Bartel and wife Paige of Oklahoma, Megan Werschem of Oklahoma and Jason Bartel and fiancé Amarie Griffeth of Oklahoma; seven great-grandchildren, Ian, Lane, Charlie, Ella, Aiden, Dennis and Joey; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions in Ronald's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
