Obituary

Ronald Charles Karberg, 84, of De Soto, previously of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Baisch Nursing Center.

On March 24, 1939, Ron was born to the union of Henry Karberg and Mary (Mullen) in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ron worked as a Superintendent for PARIC and helped construct the St. Louis Sewer Plant.

He was united in marriage to Deborah (Seyer) on April 26, 2003, at the Rose Hill Baptist church in Villa Ridge.

Ron and Deborah were members of the Rose Hill Baptist Church, NRA and the Tea Party.

Ron was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed baseball as well as football. He loved discussing politics. Ron enjoyed being outdoors whether he was hunting or fishing, which was his passion. He was very knowledgeable about antique guns and ammo and could more than likely tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Colt. Ron cherished the time he spent playing the guitar with his best friend, Carl. Most of all, Ron loved spending time with his beautiful wife, Deborah and their family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Karberg.

Ron is survived by his wife, Deborah Karberg of Washington; one son, Michael Karberg and wife Alison of St. Louis; one daughter, Kimberly DiNovi and husband Tom of Villa Ridge stepson, John Eggers of Washington; one brother, Alan Karberg and wife Carol of St. Louis; two sisters, Linda Karberg of St. Louis and Cheryl Siefried and husband Joe of Eureka; many grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
