Ron Carson
Sr.
January 30, 1945 – December 8, 2024
Ronald Dean Carson Sr., 79, passed away peacefully at his home on December 8, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on January 30, 1945, in Denver, CO., Ron lived a life of dedication, hard work, and quiet wisdom.
Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and later became a cornerstone of his community through his shoe repair business, where he was fondly known for his craft and dedication to his work. His absence was felt by many when it closed.
Ron was a man of quiet generosity. He was always ready to give anything he had to someone in need, often never expecting anything in return. His kindness and willingness to help defined his relationships and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Known for his dry sense of humor, Ron could share a great laugh when the moment was right. Though he wasn't much of a talker, when he spoke, his words carried weight, often leaving quite an impression. He taught by example, showing those around him the importance of perseverance and pushing through life's challenges.
He is survived by his seven children, numerous grandchildren, and a community that respected and loved him. Ron cherished his family above all, often reflecting with pride on how much it had grown. Even in his final days, he expressed his love and admiration for his children and grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Edna Carson; his six brothers; and his beloved grandson, Jeffery Ryan Carson.
He was a man of kindness, immense love, and steadfast determination. Whether helping a neighbor, supporting his family, or quietly imparting wisdom, Ron lived a life full of purpose and heart.
His wish was to work until his final day, cobbler hammer in hand, never idling. This dedication defined his spirit, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Midlawn Funeral Home.
Ron's legacy of love, hard work, generosity, and resilience will forever be cherished.
