Roger Messex, 28 of St. Clair passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 in St. Clair.

Mr. Messex, son of Leroy Messex and Ellen nee Boyer was born August 4, 1982 in St. Louis.

On September 13, 2008 he was united in marriage to Nicole Julius in St. Clair.

Mr. Messex was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Bernice Boyer; two uncles, Eddie Boyer and Stanley Messex; one brother-in-law, Dougie Julius. He is survived by his wife Nicole Messex of St. Clair; two children, Damien and Morgan Messex; his parents, Leroy and Ellen Messex of New Haven; one sister, Jammie Lee Fanaras and husband William of Robertsville; grandparents, Ed and Dixie Messex and Clara Julius; five nephews, Anthony Joseph Ross, Jesse Tyler Ross, Dakota Wayne Ross, Andrew Julius and Sylis Atchison; mother-in-law, Marilyn Kliewer; sister-in-law Erika Julius and boyfriend Ryan Atchison; other relatives and many friends.
