Rocky Whitley, 58, of Sullivan, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 in St. Louis.

On September 6, 1962 in Washington, Rocky was born to the union of Elmer Whitley and Ida (Schatzler).

Rocky attended St. Clair Highschool.

He was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Church in Sullivan.

Rocky had a strong faith in Jesus and would attend church when he could. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in nature. Rocky loved his dogs Sassy and Re-Run.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Ida Whitley; two brothers, Robert Whitley and Darrin Whitley; his ex-wife, Judy Nixon.

He is survived by two brothers, Lonnie Whitley and fiancé Heather Garbs of Sullivan and Randy Whitley of Fulton; four sisters, Wanda Whitley of St. Clair, Bernadine Morrison of New Haven, Ida Marie Webber and husband Robert of Villa Ridge and Anita Whitley of St. Clair; special friend, Regina Whitley; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations are appreciated in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Association.
