Robert White, 88, of St James, formerly of Washington, Missouri, passed away in the presence of his family at his home on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Robert, son of Frank and Leona (Kuhn) White, was born in Affton on January 21, 1935. He was united in marriage to Billie "Jean" Miller, on November 9, 1978, in Affton.

He served in the Navy Reserves before being employed as a welder at the Nooter Corporation in St Louis, where he worked for over 44 years.

Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and just tinkering around, as well as watching football and golf. He traveled with his wife, B. Jean, to many places in the United States, with Alaska and Colorado being his favorites.  He always cherished the opportunity to share his love for travel and adventure with his grandchildren by taking them on many trips around Missouri.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leona White: one brother, Richard White.

He is survived by his wife, B. Jean White; three sons, Robert White and wife Debbie of St Louis, Michael White and wife Susan of St James, Jeff Sulmar and wife Angie of Arnold; two daughters, Sandra Attey of St Louis, Darcy Kaiser and husband Alan of Utah; seven grandchildren, Jason, Vanessa, Nathan, Adam, Paul, Daniel, Corey; other relatives and many friends.
