Robert D. Rothmeyer, 86, of St. Louis passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 in St. Louis.

Mr. Rothmeyer, son of the late Albert Rothmeyer and wife Mary nee Sattmoeller was born January 12, 1931 in St. Louis.

On November 25, 1965, he was united in marriage to Josephine Minardi in St. Louis.

He worked as a Printer at the Post-Dispatch until his retirement in February 1992.

Mr. Rothmeyer was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lorraine Rothmeyer.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Rothmeyer; two daughters, Michelle Beishir and Ruth Ann (Mike) Birk; one son, Robert (Julie) Rothmeyer Jr.; seven grandchildren, Melissa McAvaddy, Michael (Melissa) Birk, David Birk, Katie (Eric) Riley, Matthew Beishir, Michael Beishir and Robert Rothmeyer; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
