It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Wayne Perry (89) of St. Clair, Mo., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness and love for his family touched so many lives.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Donna Jane (Diekmann) Perry of St. Clair, Mo., proud father of Michael (Michelle) Perry of Imperial, Mo., Cheryl Perry (Raenelle Mackey) of Dover, Ar., and James Perry of St. Clair, Mo., cherished grandfather to Shane (Stacie) Perry, Ryan (Whitley) Perry, and Matthew (Brandy) Perry and he found immense joy in his growing family of great-grandchildren: Henry, Jolene, Lillian, Llewellyn, Lleyton, Lacie, and Alivia Faye; sisters; Dorothy Manns of Hartsburg, Mo., Ruthanne (Curt) Anderson of Columbia, Mo., Katie Kingery and Joy (Mike Scott) Perry both of Sunrise Beach, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jesse Pate Perry and Frances Irene (Fortner) Blakemore, and siblings; Lena May Perry and Betty Jean Moss and J.P. Perry and brother-in-law Jerry Manns.

Robert embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. He loved camping, hunting, and four-wheeling, especially in the beautiful landscapes of Colorado and Idaho. Some of his happiest moments were spent traveling with his wife and family and making annual hunting trips with his son and grandsons. Family gatherings brought him tremendous joy, and he treasured time spent laughing and making memories with his sisters and loved ones while singing karaoke.

Known for his generous spirit, Robert never met a stranger. He was a loyal friend to many and was admired by his nieces and nephews. Whether sharing a story, lending a helping hand, or enjoying the outdoors, he brought warmth and happiness wherever he went.

Robert was proud to be part of the Cahill Stock Car Pit Crew and was a faithful member of New Beginnings Lutheran Church.

Above all, Robert will be remembered for the love he gave so freely to his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the countless memories shared by those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Memorial Donations to Shriners Children’s Hospital

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at New Beginning Lutheran Church in Pacific, date and times are pending.
