Robert "Bob" Schreiner, 68, of Union passed away, Thursday May 13, 2021 at his home.
On September 13, 1952 in Hermann, Missouri, Bob was born to the late Charles and Nettie (Betty) (Schnitger) Schreiner.
He attended Hermann High School.
On July 28, 1980 Bob was united in marriage to Penny (Klepper) in Nassau, Bahamas.
Bob was a member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Port Hudson and the NRA.
He owned and operated his own small sporting goods business.
Bob loved hunting and fishing. No morning was complete until he had his large cup of Folger's coffee, which he carried with him everywhere he would go! Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather, as well as a hard worker and excellent provider for his family whom he enjoyed spending lots of time with and loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Schreiner, one son, Rusty Perkins and one brother, Les Schreiner.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Penny Schreiner of Union; one daughter, Heidi Koch and husband Brian of Owensville; daughter-in-law, Lisa Perkins of Gerald; three brothers, Ronald Wettling and wife Judy of Washington, Larry Schreiner and wife Patty of Hermann and Phillip Woodward of Oklahoma; one sister, Carol Schreiner of Hermann; six grandchildren, Rusty Perkins Jr. and significant other Olivia Aiello of Gerald, Corey Perkins and wife Cassie of Gerald, Judy Perkins and significant other Kyle Hanning of Gerald, Matthew Smith of Kansas, Lylah Koch and Blake Koch of Owensville; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the family to help with medical expenses. Left over donations will then be donated to Mercy Hospice of Washington for their compassionate care given to the family.
