Robert Jess Chitwood of Pacific, MO passed away surrounded by his family Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the age of 76 years.  He was born December 17, 1948, in St. Louis, MO; the son of Launie Chitwood and his wife, Roberta (Haldi).

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Launie and Roberta Chitwood; and four siblings: Michael Chitwood, Tom Chitwood, Sandra Elliott, and Gail Newman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Chitwood of Pacific; two sons: Adam Chitwood and wife Sara, and Justin Chitwood and wife Chasity, all of Pacific; four grandchildren: Haylee Chitwood, Silas Chitwood, Chase Krug, and Conner Krug; and many other relatives and friends.
