Rob Cowsert Jr., 53, of Villa Ridge passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Chesterfield.

Mr. Cowsert, son of Robert Cowsert Sr. and wife Connie (Carey) Cowsert was born August 27, 1964 in Washington, Missouri.

On June 25, 1983 he was united in marriage to Deanna DeWitt in Robertsville.

Rob proudly served his country in the United States Army until receiving an honorable discharge in 1988,

He was employed at Baxter Gardens of Chesterfield as a Service Technician.

He enjoyed playing cards with friends and family especially Texas Holdem, most of all he was a dedicated deer hunter.

Rob especially loved his grandchildren, they referred to him as PaPa Dork.

Mr. Cowsert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cowsert Sr., one uncle, Mike Carey and his father-in-law, Jerry DeWitt.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Cowsert of Villa Ridge; three sons, Robby Cowsert and wife Juliana of Union, Randy Cowsert and wife Tara of Gray Summit and Dustin Cowsert of Hawaii; his mother, Connie Cowsert of Robertsville; one brother, John Cowsert of St. Clair; two sisters, Barbie Suiter and husband Matt of Richwoods and Dee Cowsert of Catawissa; three grandchildren, Callie, Kinsley and Remington; mother-in-law, Carolyn DeWitt of Union; brothers-in-law; sisters-in -law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
