Rita Willson (Rathe), 85, of Villa Ridge passed away, Saturday, December 17, 2022 in St. Charles.

Rita, daughter of Walter Rathe and wife Laetitia (Pelletier) was born June 30, 1937 in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

On May 13, 1962 she was united in marriage to Harold Willson in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

Rita was of the Catholic Faith and member of The Baptist St. John Gildehaus Catholic Church in Villa Ridge.

She worked as a Purchasing Secretary at ACF Industries in St. Charles and retired after more than twenty-five years.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Laetitia Rathe and her husband Harold Willson.

She is survived by four children, Denise Lay and fiancé Steve Travis of St. Charles, Michael Willson and wife Deborah of St. Mary's, GA, James Willson and wife Mindy of Union and Eric Willson of Overland; one brother, Paul Rathe and wife Jane of Ipswich, MA; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one on the way; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association are preferred.
