Rita Jackson nee Elliot, 47, of Cuba passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 in Sullivan. Mrs. Jackson, daughter of Delmar Elliot and wife Iva nee Mierisch was born January 22, 1967 in St. Louis. On July 25th, 1984 she was united in marriage to John Jackson. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her mother, Iva Elliot and one brother, Paul Elliot. She is survived by her husband John Jackson of Cuba; her daughter, Kathy Voorhees and husband Willard Jr. of St. Clair; her father, Delmar Elliot; three grandchildren, Brandon Tyree, Leland Voorhees and Tanner Voorhees; other relatives and many friends.
