Rickey Hill of Sullivan, MO., passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on April 29, 1953, in St. Louis to the late Harvey and Mildred “Imogene” (Herrell) Hill Sr.

On October 11, 1985, he married the love of his life, Miss Tracey Trentman in St. Louis. Together they grew a beautiful family.

Rickey will be remembered for his quick wit, crappie fishing, sitting quietly on his porch, and always having a pocket full of candy. He was a master at BBQ which the entire family enjoyed. He was an avid knife and gun collector; he spent much of his time trading and seeking new ones.

Rickey is survived by his loving wife Tracey Hill of Sullivan, dear father of Diane (Robert) Schmidt of Granite City, IL, Brandi (Brad) Huffman of Edwardsville, IL., Jill Hill of St. Louis, MO., Anna Colon of Narnia, Steven (Laurel) Toland of Union, MO., and Ryan (Brittany) Hill of Bourbon, MO., beloved Poppy of Jayme, Mark, Grace, Marybeth, Peter, Jordyn, Aliyah, Rylyn, Amelia, Archer, Tracey, Paisley, Sawyer, and Finley, proud great grandfather of Christopher, Michael, Eyla, Eli, Arlo and Aaron, loving uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Jared and his brothers Alvie, Bill, Lonnie, Harvey Jr. and Ronnie.
